During my Christmas stay at this hotel, I was pleased with a couple of things. the location of the hotel was excellent for those doing the Camino de Compostela. It was conveniently situated near bars and restaurants, making it easy to find a place to eat and socialize. the accommodation was clean, which was a big plus for me. It's always nice to stay in a clean and tidy place, especially during a holiday getaway. Lastly, I enjoyed the basic breakfast that was provided. It was nothing fancy, but the coffee was nice and it helped kickstart my day.
There were some negative aspects to my stay. the hotel was quite cold during my visit and there were no heaters available in the rooms.

Alright, so the room was decent, man. Nothing fancy, but it did the job. And the location was pretty rad too, dude. It was close to the river and the old town, so we could explore all the cool spots on foot. Plus, they had a kitchen and laundry facilities, which came in handy. Oh, and the host was super helpful, man. She went above and beyond to help us recover a lost item. Major props to her, dude.
The check-out time was a total bummer, man. Who wants to be up and about between 5 and 9 a.m.?

The location of the hotel was very convenient, right on the Camino Portugues and within walking distance of the city center. This made it easy to explore the restaurants and attractions nearby. the staff were friendly and helpful, providing assistance when needed.
The accommodation was a bit run down and lacked charm. The exterior of the building seemed outdated and the rooms were average at best.

The location of the hotel is not ideal as the area lacks good cafes and the ones that are available have terrible and rude service. the back of the hotel faces a noisy parking area where people are drinking and yelling into the night. the room itself is clean and comfortable with a common kitchen available. the hostel also has a passcode entry system, which is convenient.
The receptionist forgot to share important information about the place, which was a bit disappointing.

I recently stayed at Albergue Pension Flavia for a few nights while on the Camiño Portugues. The location was perfect, just a few steps away from the Camino and a short walk to the city center. The room, although the outside of the property wasn't appealing, was surprisingly comfortable and exceeded my expectations. The kitchen facilities were limited, but the washer and dryer came in handy, even though the dryer took a while to figure out. The host went above and beyond to help us retrieve a forgotten item, and we were extremely grateful for her assistance. good value for money and a tasty meal in the restaurant.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.
